If it isn't quite clear yet, water is a reoccurring theme around here. And what better way to explore all the local waterways than a kayak or stand up paddle boarding expedition? There are many ways to enjoy water in the Sierra Nevada and its foothills. The region's watershed includes highlights such as our own American River and nearby Lake Tahoe and Folsom Lake & Lake Natoma. No matter what your skill level or interest is, there is a body of water for that.
