CAMP RULES
-
Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM
-
You are responsible for your child(ren)’s safety while at the EarthTrek camp. Please be aware of where they are and monitor their safety.
-
Do not allow your child to climb or stand on tent railings, deck railings, hillsides, berms, fences, or other structures. This is for their safety and for the protection of EarthTrek property.
-
This is a shared space, please be considerate of other other campers, be respectful and keep noise to a minimum.
-
No personal cooking using BBQ’s, camp stoves, campfires, etc. is allowed. You are welcome to bring snacks and pre-cooked food and drinks in ice chests or visit a local eatery.
-
No smoking inside or around tents, in or near the kitchen or dining facilities, or in or near other common areas. Designated smoking areas are in the gravel parking lot or next to the river. Do not throw any cigars, cigarettes, etc. into the river or leave on the ground.
-
Children may not run in the upper level of camp where there is pea gravel. The gravel is slippery and they can fall and injure themselves. Please help us by reminding your children to walk at all times in the upper level of camp.
-
If you are setting up a personal tent, please leave a reasonable buffer between you and any rental tents.
-
If you are renting a river tent, do not remove the chairs on the deck from the tent.
-
If renting a river tent, please be mindful of the location of personal items and trash and help prevent these items from making their way into the river.
-
Please do not eat or drink sweet/sugary snacks/drinks in the rental tents. If spilled or left out, it will attract ants.
-
Do not apply sunscreen spray inside the rental tents or on the back deck. Sunscreen sticks to the wood, vinyl pads, and the tent itself and is extremely difficult to clean.
-
Do not spray insect spray on the tent walls
-
Do not remove sleeping pads from tents
-
Due to high fire danger, wood campfires are only permitted at the discretion of EarthTrek staff which adheres to local fire restrictions/recommendations.
-
No riding of bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. within the campground
-
If you plan on having non-OARS or EarthTrek guests stop by to visit, please notify us in advance for approval.
-
Please dispose of your trash in trash cans located throughout camp. Use recycling stations/bins for plastic bottles, glass, aluminum, and cardboard.
-
And last, but not least, have fun and have a great stay! 😊
